Textile industry is a significant economic sector of Uzice .With the owner transformation of the state companies a large number o small and medium-sized companies originated.Besides, the potential of the textile industry in Utica and the region are attractive to investors , for there has been a long tradition of this branch in Utica , as well as the available and qualified labour and also the secondary school which trains the students for the textile industry

Ready-made clothes Kadinjača  is a company producing heavier ready-made clothes.As the only certified company in the country for using Goretex materialist offers sports and fashion programmes within its assortment.
Nowadays Kadinjača employs 360 people.

Sirogojno company is a trade mark which has been manufacturing hand-knitted cardigans, jackets, coats, scarves, caps etc.for more than 50 years ,and these products have become attractive for the most prestigious boutiques in the world owing to their authenticity. Due to tits specific technology of manufacturing and the wish to have supreme quality which is an essential feature of each product , the production has been limited to 20,000 items per year.

 Tekstil is a company dealing with the import of textiles and haberdashery and their sale in the country and abroad. The annual level of import is se 1.000.000 m2. Their products include : polyester-based fabrics (satin fabrics, knitwear, lycra etc.), natural fabrics (linen, viscose, denim, raw silk) and accessory materials(linings, made of viscose and polyester, adhesive linen)

Onix DOO is a private which has been directing activities into 3 directions for 20 years:
-Import and thinking of the ,material for production-design of garments- manufacturing-sale in its onwn retail network or in cooperation with big trading companies.

- Atelier Bos produces textile goods- fashion curtains and draperies , bed linen, bed linens, tablecloth , light overcoats, aprons , overalls, flags ...

Spinning mill Alempijević is engaged in spinning and colouring of all types of woolen yarn. Using the specially selected wool, high-quality yarns for hand-knitting(both f or men and women). Jackets, cardigans, scarves, caps, gloves are only a part of the offer of hand-made woolen products.

Volos is characterized by new collections for each season , by its recognizable design, which is always trendy and matchless.High quality of the imported yarns , manual finalization and continuous quality control contribute to the high product quality.

Pahuljica has the production of home haberdashery as its main activity. .Apart from that it is also engaged in making the textile garments , clothing items for men and women.Currently it employs 75 people.

Alisine bebe is a family company specialized for the manufacturing of children’s clothes- baby’s undershirts, body shirts, babygroes,caps etc.

The company DIVI  deals with the production of multi-layer coestrusion foils made of PS and PP materials as well as the production of thermo-formed packaging ( plastic glasses for the dairy industry). The annual capacities for processing in this company are 4,00 tons , and it produces   50.000.000 units per month.

Drateks is a company specialized in manufacturing of plastic hangers.Apart from this, the company produces polyethylene foil and polyethylene bags.

PTP Terazije is the biggest company in the region that is engaged in whole sale and retail trade of paints and lacquers.It employs 86 people in its 20 retail objects.
