  This is a fair of the best producers of brandy from Uzice  region.It is organized in October.

ETHNO-TOURIST MANIFESTATION "DAY FOR YESTERDAY"

ORGANISER: Tourist Organisation of Užice
Manifestation takes place within the celebrations of the Day of the City with the aim to introduce to the citizens old forgotten crafts: making pottery , wool processing, making brandy, embroidery…Within the manifestation there is also a presentation of traditional products by which Uzice region is recognizable , and numerous choral and folk-dancing groups participate.  

 

DAY OF THE CITY

  ORGANISER: Assembly of the City of Uzice
  The Day of the City , 9^th October , is celebrated through various events taking place from 2-9^th October. In the implementation of the programme different City institutions participate, alongside with sportsmen, artists, associations, primary and secondary school pupils,as well as our youngest citizens, the children from kindergartens.

  The exhibition of dogs is located on the area of sports playgrounds and in the sports hall in the Park.(the big one)At the exhibition, apart from the home exhibitors , there are also foreign ones.

  ORGANISER: Association  "Zlakusa"
  The peculiarity of this colony is in making fine bonds between the traditional pottery and contemporary tendencies in the art pottery. Using the same technology that was used in the old times , contemporary artists create their works of art with the modern style.It is organiseed every year from 15-25 August in the village of Zlakusa.

 

DIVING FROM THE OLD RAILWAY BRIDGE

• DIVING FROM THE OLD RAILWAY BRIDGE -July
  Organiser: The Assembly of the City of Uzice  and the Institution  "Veliki park"
  Diving from the old railway bridge into the river Djetinja is a traditional manifestation which gathers the representatives of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Each year this sports event gathers about 6,000 spectators.

 

BLUEBERRY DAYS

  ORGANISER: Association "DOPSI"
  The event has both the ecological and economic significance. It takes place  on Jelova Gora, by Jovan’s fountain.The aim of this event is to preserve the blueberries and the areas of the mountain with unspoilt nature.

 

HOMELAND DAYS OF MOKRA GORA

  ORGANISER: Local communityof  Mokra Gora and the Association of people from Mokra Gora
  This traditional event is organized from 21^st to 26^th June.It has been protected as an event which gathers the people from Mokra Gora who left the village and those who still live in it.With its interesting content it has gone far beyond the tourist event , which is visited by tourists from the country and abroad every year.During this village celebration old crafts are shown , old customs revived and the objects of traditional craftsmanship are displayed.

 

 

GRAPHIC BIENNIAL "DRY POINT"

  ORGANISER: CITY GALLERY
  Biennial of graphics "Dry point" ever since its foundation in 1993, has been directed towards the observation and encouraging the standard graphic production realized through the technique of dry point. The immediate initiator of this biennial exhibition , professor ,  Bogdan Kršić, used this technique in his work as well.  

BLES AND  ROCK FESTIVAL

  ORGANISER: Association of the lovers of rhythm, blues and rock  "Vox Experience"
  The festival gathers the most important names of the blues and rock scene and it does the popularization of their work among the public of Uzice . The festival also includes interesting daily programme : promotions of books and DVD editions , speakers’ platforms, exhibitions of photographs….It takes place on 30^th and 31^st May.
